The joint AIA SWO and Salem meeting was full of information and interesting technology. The tour started at OSU’s Wave Research Center, moved on to OSU’s LEED Platinum Energy Center and concluded with a lecture, dinner and slide show at CH2M Hill by Professor Yeh. The topics, although fascinating and tragic simultaneously were pertinent and timely. There is no better time to prepare for an earthquake, and then subsequent tsunami, and the benefits of energy savings and tax deductions can save a campus thousands of dollars a year. AIA Salem, thanks AIA SWO for making these tours an option and looks forward to future  joint meetings.
